Photos of the presenter
The face in the movie is only as good as the face in the photos. One great photo beats ten average ones.
The best photo
- Facing the camera, eyes open, in focus — ideally a passport photo with a friendlier expression.
- Soft, even light. Hard shadows on the face become part of it.
- Face large in the frame: at least 400 pixels from chin to forehead.
- No sunglasses, no hands near the face, no one else in the shot.
The app uses the sharpest face for drawing. The Cast photo is the one your cast shows — right-click a photo and choose Use as Cast Photo to change it.
Two or three more
Add a slightly turned head and one full-length shot. They show the film model what one photo cannot: profile, build and how the clothes fall.
Appearance and clothes
The app describes the presenter from the photos — hair, glasses, build — and uses that text, Appearance on the Presenter page, word for word in every shot. Correct anything it got wrong: this text keeps the face steady from shot to shot.
Clothes is From the photos by default. If the photos show a T-shirt and the scene is a news desk, choose Like the person in the scene: the presenter is dressed like the person they replace, or in clothes that suit the place.
More likeness
In Movie settings on the Movie page, raise Stills per camera to 3 or 4. The app draws that many stills for each camera and keeps the one whose face best matches the photos.
